1. a.) iNamics will purchase a Domain Transfer Request on your behalf to transfer this domain. This request will be sent to the email address of the Administrator, and most likely will come from GoDaddy.
2. b.) Since the person on record as the “Administrator” will be sent this email from our Registrar, it is very important that you notify this person that a request has been put through to transfer this domain and that they need to approve this request.
3. c.) When this is received, the Administrator must follow the directions which may require that you phone your current Registrar to get the authorization code for this domain. If you are confused as to what to do, call iNamics at (216) 916-0196 and we’ll coach you through it.
4. d.) Once you have the authorization code, send iNamics an email with the authorization code and forward the email that was sent to you containing the transaction I.D. and Security code. The email address to send this to is: .
5. e.) Once iNamics receives this information from you, we will continue with the transaction process.
6. f.) Lastly, your current Registrar has to release your domain. The time period associated with this process depends on this Registrar and their policies and procedures. Some Regisrars release it very quickly and others take up to a couple of weeks.
7. g.) Once iNamics has control of this domain, we can make the necessary changes to direct your domain name to your website host and can make sure your email is working correctly. Until we have this control, we can not help fix any of your email problems.
